When are you open?
The office is open 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-12.30pm Saturday.

Where are you?
Our address is Victoria Hall Salerooms, Little Lane, Ilkley. We are on the Leeds side of Ilkley on the A65. Click on 'Contact us' for further directions.

Tuesday 9am-7pm and Wednesday 9am-start of sale.

Fine Art and Antiques Sales
Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm,
Monday/Tuesday 9.30am-4.30pm (prior to sale days) 9am-10am saledays.

What does it cost to sell at auction?
Fine Art and Antiques Sales
10% (plus VAT)

Victoriana, Wine and Toy Sales
15% (plus VAT)

What does it cost to buy at auction?
We have a buyer's premium of 15% plus VAT.

Can I leave a commission bid?
If you are unable to attend the sale we can bid on your behalf up to your maximum price, but otherwise as cheaply as other bids and reserves permit

Do I need to register to buy at your saleroom?
No, we still use the traditional method of names. In our Fine Art and Antiques Sales you will be asked to complete an address slip if you are a successful purchaser.

Do we collect and what do we charge?
We can collect your items at a charge of approximately £35 an hour.

Do we deliver items purchased?
We can arrange delivery through many of our contractors who regularly work for us.

Can I put a reserve price on my items?
Yes providing that the Auctioneers agree the price.

How do I find out how much my items are worth?
We have three valuers, one of whom is generally on the premises’ You are welcome to pop in for a free verbal appraisal at any time. Alternatively an appointment can be made to see a Valuer to discuss your items.

If successful, how long have I to pay and collect?
All items must be paid for and collected within two days.
